Vision and Purpose

Church Vision Statement:

To be a Christ centered place of worship that includes Christian education, evangelism and discipleship. A church where the Holy Spirit directs both pastoral leadership and congregational commitments to follow. A welcoming place that encourages loving relationships among members and community we serve.

Mission Statement:

Our purpose includes the great commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).

We also share in Christ's purpose: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" (Luke 4:18-19).

May we continue to hold fast to the great commandments: "To love God with all our heart, soul, mind and love neighbor as self" (Matthew 22:37-39).
